all alpha needs is some petrified driftwood and a swiss army knife and some pumice stone to make it shiny for his tools to do his woodworking ( since he is on the island )

I'll be the forager and can also offer health care. It just so happens that I survived two years on a tropical island just south of florida before being rescued by a couple who were pleasure sailing. Let me tell you this: Even tropical islands can get quite cold! The best thing you could do is find a baobob tree or some knarled equivalent and dig out under its roots for shelter during storms. Those winds can be BRUTAL!
I'm a massage therapist now, so I'm certified in First Aid, CPR and am also a Certified Nurses Aide when the need (read bills) demand it. Add herbalism to my list and you've a naturopath healer on hand to make sure your bumps and scrapes don't turn septic.
