You know, its funny how opinions are divided concerning this subject! On the one hand I have heard stories of the type <don't divulge any personal info cause the ...boogey-man's gonna get you> On the other hand I hear stories of people who have met through the Net, fell in love and got married.
So I 'll say "hurray" for the truth, guys! Its got my vote!....
Oh and, BTW...I am tall, blonde, 50 kg (about 100lbs) and single!

Careful CB, I've always had a bad feeling about that Alpha... emoticon

I believe in honesty, period. On the internet or otherwise. Of course, I think we already covered that in another topic.

Re: Honesty and the Internet

I like meeting people online, especially on Message Boards.

Just think: Here we interact with only our minds and thoughts. Few have seen pictures of the other. Posting our opinions we don't know which race someone belongs to, how old they are or if they are handicapped or not. And it doesn't matter. In a way, meeting here means that less prejudice colours our interaction. This is something I enjoy immensely.

I know that I'm basically honest on the net. What would lying gain you? In German, we say that lies have short legs, meaning that they will be caught eventuelly. I believe that is true for most places, and even the internet. You still meet the same people again, be it in a chat or on a message board.

And quite simply I feel better when I don't have to remember cheating someone. emoticon

its always good to be in total honesty weather its good, bad, or indifferent

i can only be honest with my true friends and online friends . if they are not honest then its there problem but at least i have been upfront with them about situations and my personal life . i will only share with them as to how much they share with me and then we may take it further

Gods! You have no idea how tempted I am to ... deviate from the pure path! emoticon

Check this. Maybe I should add that I have been asked out for a date by the ... blonde.
