have a question about hard drives

Hi everybody!!

I have a question for you. I have an external hard drive that I want to use to save my recipes. My question is if my internal hard drive crashes will my external hard drive crash as well? I don't want to put all my recipes there if there is a chance I could lose all my hard work. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks!!

Chris

If there's a physical malfunction of your internal hard drive, your external hard drive should not be affected. If there's a virus attack, however, you can lose that data as well. The safest thing is just burning your important data onto a CD or a DVD. A cd costs 25 cents, and it lasts forever.
