Musical editing

Greetings,
My sister was wondering if there is any downloadable programs that work with music editing that could enable her to bring the lead vocalist's voice down and a background vocalist to the foreground. If anyone knows anything about this please respond! Thank you.

Cool Edit Pro 2.1 is the one that I use. I think you will find it quite handy and suitable for the job.

Here's a link that might help you: http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/11/1/4/11-1-4-6.shtml

On no idol whatsoever... Just out of curiosity... I used to experiment with the Queen band songs a lot... Their chorus parts are simply superb!

Re: Musical editing

at the moment im using nero movie editor to do music, since my new music studio 'puter wont be workin for a while :(
nero works pretty good, it comes free with most new XP 'puters, using the movie maker will give you two music tracks and a video track, export the whole thing as a movie then get OSS audio extractor (or something similar, OSS is a free downloadable trial that extracts the audio track from a movie file and makes it into a music (mp3, wav etc) file)
OSS is the one i suggest serchin for, its a FREE trial and if you change the clock on your puter back after the trail has run out and re-start the puter you can keep using it ;)

I've been roaming around, checking out other people's board layouts and sampling threads, and I noticed this. If you're still into Queen and are interested in hearing covers, check out http://wretchawry.com/ (click on Rarities). There are 3 different live cover versions of Lily of the Valley by the same female artist, Happy Rhodes. 3 might seem like overkill, but I love all all of them.
